The FORCE
Chalk up another perfect season for The
FORCE! Once again, professional football officiating enjoyed a
perfect record of reliability from the BUF/Leitch designed and built
replay system used for instant replay officiating. When you see
the officials look into that funny hood on the field, the picture he
sees is being controlled by BUF control panels. A last minute
replay booth location change for this season's "Super" game
(along with moving of wiring, etc.) didn't affect the system's perfect
operational record.

BUF Technology is happy to report the
success of the Leitch
/ BUF "FORCETM"
instant replay system for professional football officiating.
The FORCE
system was used extensively during the 1999 and 2000 football seasons
with much success. Coaches and fans alike love it. The FORCE
offers instant review of plays without the delays of the old system
(given up in 1991). We want to thank all those who participated in the
development and use of the replay system!
